Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc. & A.H.)
The Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) and the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University (IAAS/TU), both offer the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc. &A.H.) programs.
The study of Veterinary Science helps in the practice of providing medical care to animals, including illness, and disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Similarly, Animal Husbandry studies the breeding, care, and keeping of domesticated animals on farms.
Eligibility
The following requirements must be met to take the entrance examination.

Applicants must have passed the SLC/SEE exam in the Second Division or with at least a “C” Grade to be eligible for admission. |

Applicants must have got a “C” Grade in each subject and an aggregate C+ (2.4 GPA) in I. Sc. Science, 10+2 (Science), 10+2 (Plant Science/ Animal Science/ Forest Science), I. Sc. Ag., I. Sc. Vet. to face the entrance examination of BSc. Ag. Program. |

Applicants must have completed at least 50 full marks in Mathematics and Physics, as well as 100 full marks in Biology, Chemistry, and English, to be eligible for the entrance examination. |

The examinee must secure at least 50% entrance exam score |
Course Duration: 5 years, 10-semesters
